PCB Assembly Unit Firm, South Coast

We are a small specialist electronics company who had deep concerns about the behaviour of their Bank, we were also struggling with an out of control debt, due to an enforced management buyout two and half years previously The position was further compounded by the request by a creditor to pay out immediately £50,000.

ias were contacted as a result of their very graphic publicity which had recently arrived on my desk – and – we had been on the receiving end of ias in the past when they were working for one of our clients who were having money problems. The Senior Partner showed genuine concern and consideration for our position and arranged an appointment for the following day.

After a short discussion he considered our position to be so serious that a set of objectives were laid down immediately. The next day he returned and explained in detail our options and more importantly gave an indication as to what costs were likely to be involved.

From this point speed and co-operation along with secrecy, confidentiality and a massive amount of professionalism was going to be the key to hopefully a successful outcome.

The staff of ias were always available right through until the final settlements with our creditors, including the bank were reached.

Actions were swift and fast and the ias network of contacts proved to be incredible in all areas banking, accountancy, lawyers and insolvency.

Now 4 months on we have a business free from debt and attractive enough for several companies to be interested in either investing or purchasing as a going concern with both partners achieving all of the original objectives.

*******

Including the above neither of the original Directors are going Bankrupt or entering into an IVA whilst also remaining in possession of both ownership and control of the company and most important in possession of their houses. Amazing when you think 4-months ago we had personal guaranties everywhere and owed nearly 3 million!
